My Story
I am a Registered Social Worker with experience supporting adults through trauma, anxiety, and complex emotional experiences. My approach is compassionate, relational, and grounded in both clinical training and a deep respect for how healing unfolds over time. I believe that healing happens in safe, attuned relationships, and I am here to walk alongside you as you reconnect with yourself and move toward lasting well-being.
I began my journey in social work with a deep interest in understanding how early experiences shape emotional well-being and development. I completed my Bachelor of Social Work, followed by my Master of Social Work with a specialization in Indigenous Studies, which continues to inform my approach to culturally safe and relational care.
Over the years, I have worked extensively with children, youth, and families across a variety of settings, including community services and government programs. This experience has shaped my passion for supporting individuals who may feel overwhelmed, misunderstood, or disconnected. I have a particular interest in working with neurodivergent individuals, including those navigating ADHD, as well as those who identify as sensitive, intuitive, or “quirky” in how they experience the world.
I continue to expand my clinical skills through ongoing training and supervision. My current training includes EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS Level 1), Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics (Bruce Perry informed), and Compassionate Inquiry informed practice. Outside of my work, I value time in nature, connection with family, and creating space for reflection and balance.
My Practice
In my practice, I offer a compassionate and non-judgmental space where you can explore your experiences at your own pace. I work with children, youth, adults, and parents, supporting those who may be navigating trauma, anxiety, emotional regulation challenges, or feeling overwhelmed by life’s demands.
My approach with children focuses on attachment, Circle of Security, and Bruce Perry's work in Neurosequencial Model of Therapeutics (mind mapping) theory. Children often communicate and process their experiences through behaviour, play, and creativity. I believe behaviour has meaning, and my work with children focuses on understanding what may be underneath the surface. Drawing from play therapy, sandtray, and Bruce Perry-informed approaches, I support children in working through trauma, stress, and big emotions in ways that feel natural and developmentally appropriate.
My approach with youth and adults is grounded in understanding the nervous system and how past experiences impact present-day patterns. I draw from a range of trauma-informed modalities, including EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics, and Compassionate Inquiry (informed) modalities. These approaches support deeper awareness, increased emotional regulation, and meaningful change over time.
I have a special interest in working with neurodivergent individuals and families, offering support that is strengths-based and tailored to how you uniquely experience the world. Whether you are seeking support for yourself, your child, or your family, my goal is to help you build greater understanding, resilience, and connection.
I welcome you to reach out for a consultation to see if we might be a good fit to work together. I am a service provider for First Nations Health Authority (FNHA) and Crime Victim Assistance (CVAP).
